Continuing on a prosperous collaboration that has taken place ever since 2014, RAC Athens & Cairo Royal are signing a purposeful twining agreement this November through Med MDIO! Both clubs initiated their collaboration when they worked jointly on RAC Athens’ international & community project “Buy One More” in addition to Cairo Royal’s Autism online awareness campaign that went viral, Rotaract Club Athens joined it as well.
During his visit to Egypt as part of Med MDIO’s Board Convention, the Med MDIO Vice President and Special Secretary of Rotaract Club Athens Paul Sampatakakis, signed together with the Past President of Rotaract Club Cairo Royal and Med MDIO Communication Coordinator the twining agreement and exchanged club flags. The twining agreement will start by planning for an anti-bullying Campaign at high schools organized fully by Rotaractors and Interactors in Egypt & Rotaractors in Greece. The aim of the campaign is to define bullying in addition to role-playing for teenagers to have a better understanding of the concept. Followed by planning for an Autism campaign and an awareness event to take place in April in both countries as well.
Building on last year’s campaign, this year’s event will involve a talent show for children where they can realize and fully express their talent. In addition to being able to perform, the kids will also receive advice from experts and get the best in training from some of the top professionals in the industry.
